Summer Challenge Update

Will the Summer Challenge return? We'd love it to, but for now, the next event is on hold.

The Summer Challenge was originally created because of the incredible popularity of the Spring Challenge. For many years, Spring Challenge consistently sold out, with waiting lists of teams missing out on the opportunity to take part.

We introduced the Summer Challenge to give those teams another chance to experience the fun, excitement and adventure of a women's adventure race.

However, in recent years, with the exception of Hanmer Springs in 2026, the Spring Challenge hasn't reached full capacity. Until Spring Challenge is consistently selling out again, and there's clear demand for another event, we simply can't justify bringing Summer Challenge back.

And that's a shame, because we love the Summer Challenge! It's a fantastic event, with its own personality, great adventures, and all the things we love about racing in summer.

We're certainly not saying goodbye to Summer Challenge. We'd love to see it return when the time is right.

So, if you'd love to see Summer Challenge back on the calendar, the best thing you can do is enter Spring Challenge! The stronger the support for Spring Challenge, the better the opportunity to bring back a second event.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported Summer Challenge over the years. We've shared some brilliant adventures, made wonderful memories and had a lot of fun along the way.

Keep adventuring, keep encouraging your friends to give it a go, and hopefully we'll see you back at a Summer Challenge in the future!
