Merrell Summer Challenge Women's Adventure Race

The entry fee is for a team of three women.

ENTRY PACKAGE

  • The Summer Challenge is a 3-day experience, starting with registration and race briefing on Friday, the event is on Saturday and the awards prize giving is on Sunday, it makes for an excellent weekend adventure (anticipation - adventure - achievement)

  • Ten Events Ltd is a professional events management company. The company holds an Outdoors Mark Safety Management System Audit Certificate. This provides participants that safety is paramount in the event and the providers are qualified. On site Paramedics are at the event.

  • The course design team have created over 100-successful outdoor sporting events in New Zealand now, all their knowledge and experience combined with participant feedback shapes the every event we deliver.

  • Race pack includes a 2025 Summer Challenge tee shirt, deals and specials, sponsor samples and giveaways.

  • Race day includes all kayaking gear (kayaks, paddles, certified PFD’s), waterproof maps (2-sets per team).

  • An absolutely amazing adventure experience.

Refund Policy
90% refund until the end of Sept 2024

80% refund until the end of December 2024

60% refund until the 12th of January 2025
30% refund until the 26th of January 2025
No refunds after the 26th of January 2025

Event Cancellation
If the event has to be cancelled within the last week due to weather conditions or natural disasters or any other justifiable reason so deemed by the organisers, no refunds will be issued.

Refund Protection
Refund protection is the responsibility of the competitors.
We have given all participants the option of adding XCover.

Withdrawing from the event
Please let us know if you need to withdraw your team.  
If you have XCover, we will then send you a link to contact them directly to arrange a full refund.
Our refund policy is for those who do not take XCover.

Terms and Conditions
Upon entering, team are agreeing to these terms

We, the undersigned, acknowledge, agree and confirm that:
1. I/We have read and understand the rules of the Event ("Rules"). I/We will comply with the Rules and any laws, regulations and other
requirements applicable to the Event.
2. The Organiser may conduct the Event as it sees fit, including changing the Rules without notice and refusing entry or disqualifying or removing competitors without giving reasons in an emergency safety situation.
3. I/We understand the risks of competing in the Event, including the risks of death, disability, illness and injury and personal property loss or damage, and will assume and be personally responsible for the risks.
4. I/We consent to receiving medical treatment during the Event which may be considered necessary by the Organiser and to having my/our image taken during the Event and used by the Organiser for any lawful purpose.
5. I/We release and discharge the Organiser and associated persons from, and they disclaim, any and all liability, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, for death, disability, illness, injury, loss, damage or any other matter, arising directly or indirectly from the Event or my/our participation in the Event.
6. I/We indemnify, and will keep indemnified, the Organiser and associated persons from and against any and all liability (including all legal expenses on a solicitor and own client basis), whether in contract, tort or otherwise, for death, disability, illness, injury, loss or damage or any other matter, arising directly or indirectly from the Event or my/our participation in the Event.
7. The "associated persons" referred to in paragraphs 5 and 6 above include the directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents and representatives of the Organiser and all persons associated with the Event, including volunteers, sponsors and equipment and property providers, and the release and discharge in paragraph 5 and indemnity in paragraph 6 are intended to create a benefit in favour of, and be enforceable by, them.
8. I/We acknowledge that the Summer Challenge organisers can not guarantee my/our safety and that we take full responsibility for any outcomes of the event. I/We have read and understand the contents of this document.
9. By entering the event I/We am agreeing to all the above conditions.
